Future Me is a half-day training that helps young people in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, use the future to make better decisions in the present. It combines two things: the futures-thinking tools I learned during the ASEFYLS Capacity Training 2026, and Dear Me, Bamnang's digital letter-to-self practice.

The training works in two directions. The foresight tools (weak signals, trend clustering, scenarios and backcasting) help participants look at what is changing around them. The Dear Me letters help them connect that wider picture to their own life: who they want to be in five years, what is likely to change before then, and what they can start doing now. Anticipatory leadership starts with individual choices, so the training asks each participant to lead their own future first.
